NEWS
Heres Some news.... Feel-Lion are deciding to change their name to "Man Hammer" the decision came about
after a story heard by Daniel about playing drums with meat hammers! This is the 3rd name that the band has had after a short
stint as "The Urinals" and "Feel-Lion". Other news is about gigs! The section will be finally updated shortly as We have been
told that we may be suporting Sitting Pretty in early December although this has not been finalised, and another gig as Screaming
Blue Mureder, and Edinburgh band are going to be off on a Scottish tour with the Edinburgh dates being supported by US! More
News coming soon!!!
Angel has started back where he left with 2 songs in the making for Feel-Lion's next EP.
You Are All I Have & Tombstone are just a couple a songs in the making for the new EP. Angel has more songs in the making
which are much heavier and faster than songs on the previous Feel-Lion EP. Keep watching this space for updates on new songs
from Feel-Lion.
Angel has returned to lead Feel-Lion to total world domination, he won't be taken over the
drums but he will be delivering amazing riffs as 2nd guitarist and will play the ocasional bass here and there.
Quick
Update... Feel-Lion now has a myspace, you can check it out at www.myspace.com/feellion the page isnt complete yet put is
getting there.
First update in ages! Feel-lion have had another couple of practices since the release of the
demo promo and have decided to do a proper recording and make an album!!! So if anyone is wanting a copy of the promo then
get it now before i throw all copies in the bin. There is going to be a gig set up for the near future and Recording should
start in a couple weeks with the producer Nicolas Ross......peace out.
Feel-Lion will be featured on the first
ever "Black Tie Records" mixtape along with Bonzai, Sitting Pretty and Screaming Blue Murder, this will be available soon
from www.bonzaionline.tk for free, although from what I have heard this is strictly on a limited bassis and will not be available
for long!
I (Phil) would like to end all confusion...Feel-Lion will NOT be changing their name to the spice
boys!
After our recent success in practice we have Decided to produce our first Demo/EP entitled "Feel-Lion
Episode III A New Pope". You may also have noticed that i the mule have succeeded in making the band a three peice and in
the involvement of electric sounds and would like to inform the public that i havent given up on my dream of being named "THE
SPICE BOYS" just wait.
This is the first update in ages, and today (Thurs.4th Aug.) we had our first band practice in ages. It
went amazing, i think we have finally decided on the direction of our band and are all really happy with it. As a 3 peice
we have now a setlist of 6/7 songs and recorded a poor quality demo.....Spiffing!
Another update. You may
have read on the website that Ab has unfortunatly decided to leave the band. We are all sorry that we couldn't make it work
but some things are just meant to be. On a brighter note, Daniel has decided to take over on drums and we have almost secured
a gig at the venue for late July/Early August, we will be supporting the band Bonzai along with Sitting Pretty and Lost Socks
and have aquired a temp bassist Mathew from the band Broken Light to play for this gig. We have only just begun!
Ok
its 14th of June and time for an update.First of exams are over and feel-lion are off the hiatus but are going through problems
as seen below. If we can sort this out soon ab that would be great, phone daniel, we want feel-lion to continue but dont wana
loose out. On a positive note as we dont know abs status, Daniel, tom and i all had a practise today and hav pretty much completed
war pigs which is class and hav also started working on a new song that is the heavisest thing i have ever written, it sounds
good. For the millions of fans (eg.Nic) we want you to know that feel-lion will NOT be splitting up and I hope this can all
get worked out soon.
Peace out.
Angel is considering leaving the band to work on another project
unless he is shown some great improvement and given good reason to stay with Fee-Lion. Angel feels a certain member of the
band is not taking it serious enough and is also showing that he has a great lack of talent, he also feels that the lyrics
to the bands song "Last Night" don't make sense, and the music does not go together. Unless there is great improvement in
the band the future for Angel & Feel-Lion will be over.
We had a practice today (16th May), well,
I say we... I mean everyone except Ab but when you have to work, you have to work. So we made the most of his absence and
managed to work on a new song "War Pigs"...sounds good! We also managed to film some of the practise...possibly a Feel-Lion
home video at some stage. Some footage may be put on the site, we shall wait and see.
UPDATE: All the profiles
have now been written.
The site is now up.
We have decided to go on a short break (or hiatus)
until our Higher exams are over although some small jams may happen during exam leave. Be ready for the greatest music you
will ever hear blasting from your speakers once the exams are over!!!
Feel-Lion has recorded two unfinished
demo tracks of "Last Night" and a cover of the Pixies song "Cactus". As I say these are nowhere near finished and are already
sounding better just a couple practices onwards.
